Immovable, Un-re-sizeable KDE Windows

I ran into an issue at work with KDE: all of my windows, new or existing, were stuck in the same size and position. Everything seemed to be working fine - apps and browser windows were all responding quickly and CPU utilization was fine, but I couldn't move or resize.

**EDIT**
Use "Run Command" to execute:
**END EDIT**
> kwin --replace

And it should restart the window manager without affecting any open windows.

** Using Konsole, as soon as I closed the console session, my window manager crapped out too and I was left with no keyboard. Thankfully, I had mouse control and was able to copy and paste individual letters from open windows into the "run command" prompt . . .
