I got wasted at my company Christmas party . . . I'm not sure why I did it or how I let myself do it, but I did. I'd made a mental note before we arrived that I should hold back so as not to completely embarrass myself in front of my coworkers, but between the unforgiving complexity of life and the top-shelf open bar I ended up hitting the sauce pretty hard.
I don't recall doing anything particularly reprehensible, but the ensuing hangover was rather fierce . . . I should go back to hurling fruit instead of this new drinking trend - the after effects are much less unpleasant.

So . . . here I am . . .
It's the end of an era - the era of Joe's sporadic (at best) blogging on Xanga. I might actually move again sometime in the near future to a blog that has no direct link to my real name (that way I can bitch about work and not get fired if my boss stumbles across it . . . ).
Anyway, I'll get to actually posting sometime soon - stay tuned for the abridged version of the past month or two.
